Christiansborg Palace

Christiansborg Palace is a historic palace located on the islet of Slotsholmen in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark. The palace has served as the seat of the Danish parliament since 1849, as well as the official residence of the Danish Prime Minister and a venue for royal receptions and state events. The current palace is the third building to occupy the site, with the first dating back to the 12th century. Christiansborg Palace houses many important artifacts and works of art, including the Danish crown jewels, and its architecture reflects a blend of various historical styles.
