Hassan II Mosque

The Hassan II Mosque is located in Casablanca, Morocco, and is one of the largest mosques in the world. It was completed in 1993 and is named after King Hassan II, who commissioned its construction. The mosque was designed by French architect Michel Pinseau and is situated on a promontory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It has a capacity of up to 25,000 worshippers, with a large prayer hall that can accommodate up to 10,000 people at a time. The mosque features several impressive architectural and design elements, including a 210-meter-high minaret, which is the tallest in the world. The minaret has a laser beam that points towards Mecca, which can be seen from miles away.
