Milestii Mici Winery is a famous winery located near the village of Milestii Mici in Moldova. It is known for having the largest underground wine cellar in the world, stretching over 200 kilometers (124 miles) and containing over 2 million bottles of wine. The wine cellar is a former limestone mine that was converted into a storage facility for wine in the 1960s.
The winery produces a variety of high-quality wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, among others. Visitors to the winery can take a tour of the underground wine cellars and taste some of the wines produced on site.
