Overview

The Liberation Tower is a telecommunications tower located in Kuwait City, Kuwait. It was completed in 1993 and stands at a height of 372 meters (1,220 feet), making it one of the tallest towers in the world. The tower was built to commemorate Kuwait's liberation from Iraqi occupation during the Gulf War and is designed to resemble a traditional Islamic minaret. The tower serves as a symbol of Kuwait's economic and technological development and houses various communication facilities, including radio and television transmitters, as well as observation decks and restaurants for visitors. While the tower is primarily a telecommunications tower and does not have a public observation deck or other facilities for visitors, it is still an important landmark in Kuwait and can be seen from many parts of the city.
