Vikingeskibsmuseet

The Vikingeskibsmuseet, also known as the Viking Ship Museum in English, is a museum located in Roskilde, Denmark. The museum is dedicated to the history and culture of the Vikings, with a focus on their maritime activities and shipbuilding techniques. The museum's main attraction is its collection of five original Viking ships, which were recovered from the bottom of Roskilde Fjord. The ships date back to the 11th century and are considered to be among the best-preserved Viking ships in the world. In addition to the ships, the museum features exhibits on Viking society, technology, and seafaring, as well as reconstructed Viking ships and workshops where visitors can learn about traditional Viking crafts and skills.
