Pretoria National Botanical Garden

The Pretoria National Botanical Garden is located in the eastern suburbs of Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. The botanical garden covers an area of approximately 76 hectares and was established in 1946 to conserve and showcase the unique flora of the region. The garden is situated on the eastern slopes of the Magaliesberg Mountains and is renowned for its extensive collection of indigenous plants, including many that are rare and endangered. The Pretoria National Botanical Garden features several walking trails that provide visitors with the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the area, including a waterfall and several scenic viewpoints. The garden is home to over 200 bird species, including many that are endemic to the region.
